the position of Engineering Manager.
Prerequisite: BA/BS/MS in Electronic Engineering
with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Job duties include directing & designing
electronic security systems based on laser
technology.
Details: Engineering Manager
Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering,
design, and development of custom solutions
for clients. Coordinate, direct and approve
design projects, making detailed plans to
fulfill clients' needs. Oversee development
and training of engineering staff. Recruit,
manage, and direct work of engineering staff
in day to day operations. Develop and implement
policies, standards and procedures for the
engineering work performed in the department.
Review, recommend and approve cost estimates
and design modifications to fulfill clients'
requirements.
Applicant must possess Master's degree
in Electrical Engineering with three years
of experience or equivalent (Bachelor's
degree in Engineering with five years of
experience). Applicant must have knowledge
of design techniques, tools, and principles
involved in production of laser imaging
systems, including precision technical plans,
blueprints, drawings, and models. Must have
experience in supervising and training engineering
staff.
Some experience with designing of electronic
security systems based on laser technologies,
vibrating, infra-red, seismic, high frequency,
seismic and any others sensors preferred.
Job requires extensive traveling within
the US and overseas.
